So yesterday i enrolled myself in this MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) in Math at Stockholm University. What a superb way to improve my math in preparation for the University in the fall, right?
This is actually a free and easily accessible way of educating yourself in almost any field of your interest, and i was pretty surprised to see that even some U.S Ivy League schools offer MOOC-courses. All you need is a computer and an internet connection, and oh, a hunger for learning of course! 😉
In some courses you need to attend on Campus for the final exam or so, but i haven’t seen too many of those.
Anways, take a look at for example Yale’s MOOC offerings. Or Carnegie Mellon. Or Harvard. And there’s plenty more out there too. This might be the best thing since sliced bread, or am i just late to discover this?
